A non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation, growth and maintenance of this historical cemetery.
The cemetery (located at 4375 Old Mill Rd NE Bainbridge Island WA) was established in 1880 to serve the town of Port Blakely and the neighboring community. The town of Port Blakely grew out of and served the once great Port Blakely Mill. It was a true "mill town". During its operations, the Port Blakely Mill employed workers from around the world, hence the historic ethnic diversity seen in the cemetery that continues today. This historic cemetery is sustained through donations, sales of plots and a group of dedicated volunteers.
